Lawn Art Layout Explanation

For my lawn art layout, I wanted something visually appealing to the eye, perking interest in order for the visitor to stick around and see what the rest of the website would be about. With the radial gradients, I tried to integrate that style into each page in order to show that the pages belonged together. I feel it worked out quite nice, showing more of it in the introductory page and subtly having it in the other pages.

The introductory page worked out pretty well, I think, having the buffalo come out through the letters 'lawn art.' After having it printed, it did turn out a little darker than what I expected, but I believe it matches the dark tone of the layout. For the second and third pages, I didn't want to crowd too much onto the page, but of course, the 'overture' page had to have a little more in order to have links to the other pages. The waves in them were an afterthought, which turned out pretty well. Overall, I think my lawn art page came together pretty nicely. - End
